winding around
about?Listening to the Just One More Row podcast has made me want to take up spinning again. I finished the singles of the Black Welsh I’d started in probably 2009 (seriously!) and then - for the first time - plied them on my wheel last night.
These skeins need to take a bath first, I’ll post specs later.

The handpainted rovings are from Freckle Face Fibers: 4.2 ounces of BFL in “Duchess” and Falkland in “Cheeky”.
The brown one is a free 100g sample from Wollinchen that I got when I ordered my wheel (Kromski Sonata). Unfortunately I haven’t written down what it was — if there ever was any label on it — but looking at their photos I’m pretty sure it’s Black Welsh.
