The only ones I made Christmas presents last year were cats. :D

• Pattern: Angry Bird The Red Bird (Ravelry download) by Nikki Chavengsub
• Yarn: Novita 7 Veljestä in red (26 yards/24 m), white (16 yards/15 m), orange (2 yd/m), and black (2 yd/m)
• Crochet hook: 4.0 mm (G)
• Mods: Didn’t make a separate white belly disk but instead switched to red yarn and continued the body straight off the belly.

Specs for felted & crocheted slippers:

• Pattern: Hissukka (Ravelry) by Sanna Kovanen
• Yarn: 307 yards (281 m) of Novita Puro in colorway #832 (Woods)
• Hook: 7 mm
• Other: felted in the dryer, then accidentally felted again in the washing machine which made the slippers fit even better

And some more: catnip balls for the kitties

• Pattern: Cat Toy Cover (Ravelry) by Debi Brennen
• Yarn: scraps of Novita Puro in colorway #801, leftovers from a scarf
• Hook: 4 mm
• Mods: half followed the pattern, half winged it. Stuffed with polyester filling and catnip. The kitties went nuts!
