Ravelry got hacked. Though they don’t think a significant amount of information was compromised, they’re asking everyone to pop by and change their passwords. When you log in, there’s a detailed, helpful message explaining what happened and what sorts of changes they plan to make to protect users’ information going forward. They never stop impressing me.
More information in the newsletter and tips for password security in the this thread. So sad that this happened but the Ravelry staff are being extremely professional!
